Shipping Information
We operate on a 5-10 business day lead time based on the time of year. You have the option to choose your preferred pick-up/delivery date upon check-out. We will do our very best to accommodate this request. If this is a time sensitive order please call us at 416.882.1535 to discuss.
Succulent Chocolate is not liable for delay of shipment due to natural disasters, shipping carrier delays that are caused by weather, labor disputes, refusal of package, and incorrect shipping information. Please provide a street address as we do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Ensure all the necessary shipping and billing information is provided. We are not responsible for errors/misprints in the information provided to us.
We offer three shipping options:
- Pick up: You can pick up your order from our Chocolate Lab located at 501 Rowntree Dairy Rd Unit 3 Vaughan, Ontario, during our business hours of 8:30am-4:30pm. All orders will be ready for pick up/delivery by 9:00am on the day you selected at check out. You will receive an email from Shopify indicating that your order is ready for pick up. Please check your junk mail as this email is coming from a Shopify email address.
- Local Courier: Will deliver your order between 9am & 6pm Monday-Friday. They can not guarantee the time the package is delivered. Please ensure someone is available to receive the package. If not they will leave the package at the door.
- Major Courier: Will will use Purolator or Canada Post for all locations outside of our local courier zones.
📦 Ship Safe Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our product and take responsibility for safe delivery on orders shipped using our approved shipping methods.
If there is an issue with your order:
- Damaged or Heat-Affected Products
Approved claims will receive a store credit equal to 100% of the affected product value
- Significant Transit Damage (e.g., entire shipment compromised)
We will replace the affected items at no additional cost
To qualify:
- Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of confirmed delivery
- One photo of all affected products
- One photo of the shipping box and packaging materials
Must include:
- Order must be shipped to a valid, complete address with someone available to receive it
Exclusions:
- Packages left unattended or exposed to heat after delivery
- Orders with incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer
- Orders that are picked up or shipped using a customer-arranged courier
Shipping & Delivery Limitations:
Succulent Chocolates and Sweets is not liable for delays or delivery issues resulting from:
- Weather conditions or natural events
- Shipping carrier delays or service disruptions (including labor disputes)
- Refused deliveries
- Incorrect, incomplete, or invalid shipping information provided by the customer
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. A valid street address is required for all orders.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping and billing information is accurate at the time of order placement. Succulent Chocolates and Sweets is not responsible for errors, omissions, or misprints in the information provided.
☀️ Warm Weather Shipping
Chocolate is temperature-sensitive and may begin to soften or melt above 20°C. During warmer periods, all shipped orders are packed with insulated thermal materials and ice packs to help maintain product integrity in transit.
A summer packaging fee is automatically applied to shipping orders during warm weather to cover the cost of temperature-controlled packaging.
We strongly recommend shipping to a business address or a location where the package can be received immediately upon delivery. Orders left unattended are at higher risk of heat exposure.
Please note: Orders that are picked up or shipped using a customer-arranged courier are not temperature controlled by Succulent Chocolates and Sweets. Responsibility transfers to the customer at the time of pickup or courier handoff.
💳 No Refund Policy
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, orders cannot be returned or refunded once processed or shipped. Any transit-related issues are handled under our Ship Safe Guarantee (store credit or replacement only).
🍫 Chocolate Storage Guidelines
For best quality, store chocolate in a cool, dry place between 15–18°C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Chocolate does not require refrigeration.
All bonbon products are shipped frozen to help maintain quality during transit.
